Residents can request information, purchase new remotes,
change call numbers, and request party codes by:

Please provide property owner’s full name, address (both physical &
mailing if different), contact numbers (both primary and alternate) &
email address for all requests

New Remotes can be purchase by appointment only at a cost of
$50. Checks are the preferred method of payment.  (Property Owner
must be in good standing, with no outstanding dues or violations, to
purchase)

All Residents receive 1 primary 3 digit code & 1 alternate 3 digit code.
These
3 digit codes are used at the call box to call the assigned
phone number.  Once answered the “9” key is pressed on the phone
and activates the gate system to open.

4 digit “Quick Entry” Party codes are available at your request for
special events!   
To use, guest press the # key and then the 4 digit
code.
 Gates will open and the Drop down arm will raise, allowing
entry.  (Please give a 48hr notice, these codes are only active for a
specific period of time. Party codes are intended for temporary access
to the community and are active for 1 day only and for a specific
period of time between 6:30am to 11:30pm.  Party codes are not active
outside of these times in order to protect the security of our community
and its residents. Guest should utilize the property owners 3 digit code
to gain access after hours.   In addition it has been standard practice
not to issue more that 1 party code to a residence in a calendar week.)

Walk through gate code for Walking Trail is available by request.
Back Gates are RESIDENT REMOTE ENTRY ONLY!

When entering the neighborhood through the Laplaco entrance
please slow down and be courteous to cars in the visitors lane!

To deny entry when someone calls you from the call box: Press the
# key on your phone to immediately disconnect the caller and release
the call from the call box.

►When entering, pull up to the drop down arm and Press your Remote
ONCE. When the gate fully opens, the arm will rise and you can go through.
►A Resident Emergency code has been entered into the call box (390). You will be
required to give the operator your name, driver’s license # and address, you will
then be buzzed in. Abuse of this code (usage is tracked and logged) will result in
fees being assessed to the resident.
►Fire, EMS, and Police can Access Gates using “YELP” siren.
►Pressing 911 on the call pad will call the Parish 911 emergency response unit
►Real estate 3 digit code (389) has been added for agents only    (PID# required)
►Time Sensitive 4 digit quick entry PARTY / SPECIAL EVENTS codes can be
requested through the information line. (# key must be pressed first)
►Be observant to the 2 lanes at the front entrance: remotes and visitors. Yield to
visitors. A stop light will soon be added to alert remote users when a visitor call is
activating the gates. When the light is flashing the remote user should stop and
allow the visitor to enter.
►Entrance code for the Pedestrian gates is available through the info line.
►Back gates are for Residents with Remotes ONLY! Please have your guest use
the front entrance
►Purchasing remotes for lawn care providers is strongly discouraged
►Digital recording system is installed at both gates and tracks all events at the
gates.
►Drop down arm closes after each vehicle
►Do not attempt to follow through or tailgate through the gates
►BECA is not responsible for any damage incurred by the gates or drop down
barrier arms
►There will be a $50 reactivation charge for any remote that BECA is forced to
deactivate because of any resident's inability to abide by the community's
Declarations or failure to pay Annual Assessments.

Helpful Tip... When giving directions for
deliveries to your home, start out by
giving Barkley Dr. that way when entered
into a GPS it will give directions to the
FRONT LAPALCO BLVD ENTRANCE
Gate Access remotes are sold to residents by
request and are not required, but encouraged, to
gain access to the community.

Resident Remotes and Codes are assigned to
are linked to the property address and
considered sold to the property address,       
NOT individual names.

Remotes assigned to properties that have
NOT Paid  their Annual Assessment
will be DEACTIVATED
