Barkley Estates, a 165 acre upscale residential community located on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish conveniently located north of Lapalco Blvd. in Harvey, Louisiana, and just 15 minutes away from New Orleans Central Business District, features the work of some of the areas finest home builders. The community was first developed in 1994 and is complemented by a tree lined boulevard gated entrance, two community parks, abundant green space and a perimeter walking and jogging path. The community association, (BECA), is responsible for the governance of the community and common areas including administration and enforcement of the community's covenant and restrictions. This web site is owned and operated by BECA, and is for the use and enjoyment of anyone who wants to become more familiar with our community.
